HVLS stands for High Volume, Low Speed. Unlike conventional fans that spin fast to push air in a small area, HVLS fans use large blades rotating at low RPM to move massive volumes of air gently across the entire space. A single 7M HVLS fan can cover up to 1,350 m² — replacing dozens of conventional fans while consuming far less energy.
All XXXLFan HVLS fans use a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) with a direct-drive, gearless design. There is no gearbox, no belts, and no oil — which means near-zero mechanical wear and virtually maintenance-free operation for over a decade.
Our fans consume as little as 1.1 kW while moving up to 5,000 m³ of air per minute. Compared to traditional HVAC systems, most customers report 25–40% reductions in cooling-related energy costs. The payback period for most installations is under 18 months.
Yes. All XXXLFan products are UL Listed and ETL Certified, meeting all US commercial building codes and OSHA standards. Every unit also includes an auto-stop safety cable and has been SGS-tested to a 1,000 kg suspension load capacity.
In winter, run your fan in reverse (clockwise when viewed from below) at low speed. This pushes the warm air that collects near the ceiling back down along the walls, reducing heat stratification. Most facilities see 10–20% savings on heating costs using this method.
All fans include a standard wired variable-speed controller. Optional upgrades include wireless remote control, IoT/Wi-Fi app control, and BMS integration via BACnet or Modbus protocol. Timer scheduling and zone grouping are also supported on compatible controllers.
Our fans are compatible with steel I-beams, square tube, C-channel, round tube, and concrete beams. Each fan ships with a universal mounting kit. If your structure is non-standard, contact our team for a custom mounting solution.
Minimum ceiling height varies by fan size. As a general guide: 3M fans require at least 6m (20 ft), 5M fans need at least 10m (33 ft), and 7M fans require at least 14m (46 ft). For ceiling fan models (84"-120"), standard heights of 9–14 ft are suitable.
Yes. All HVLS fan installations must be performed by a licensed electrician and a qualified installer working at height. Each unit ships with a detailed installation guide. Our US-based support team is available to assist with any technical questions during installation at no additional cost.
Our HVLS fans support 110–120V, 220–240V, and 350–415V at 50/60 Hz, making them compatible with standard US commercial and industrial electrical systems. The specific voltage requirement is listed on each product page.
Most in-stock products are shipped directly from our USA warehouse for faster delivery. In-stock units typically ship within 1 business days. Most continental US orders arrive within 3–7 business days after shipment.
Yes. HVLS fans are shipped via freight carrier on pallets. Delivery includes curbside drop-off by default. If you need liftgate service or inside delivery, please contact us before placing your order.

All XXXLFan HVLS fans come with a 3-year mechanical warranty and a 2-year electrical warranty. Ceiling fan models include a 2-year warranty. Warranty coverage includes manufacturing defects and component failures under normal operating conditions.
