We wanted something larger for this room because the old fan always looked undersized. This one fits the scale of the room much better. The dark finish also works nicely with the fireplace and TV area.
Packaging was better than I expected. The blades and hardware were separated and protected well, and everything looked good when I opened it. No loose parts rolling around in the box.
Put this under our covered patio and the 84 inch size ended up being just right for the space. I was worried it might look huge, but with the open beams it actually feels proportional. The gray finish works really well with the roof and wood.
Nothing overly fancy about it, which is what I wanted. Big fan, clean lines, and it doesn't look bulky once it's on the ceiling. Happy with the purchase.
I wanted a larger fan but didn't want something that looked like it belonged in a warehouse. This has a pretty simple residential look even at this size. That was a big reason I picked it.
The finish looked a little different in person than it did on my screen, but once the fan was up I actually liked it better. The size works well in the room and overall I'm very happy with how it turned out.
Good fan and the size works for us, but 84 inches is a lot bigger in person than I pictured. Measure the space before ordering and you should be fine. Once installed, I liked the look of it a lot more than I expected.
I almost ordered a smaller one and I am glad I didn't. This size looks much better in a wide open space and doesn't disappear up on the ceiling. Simple design too, which I like.
Had it up for a while now and no complaints. The bigger blade span makes much more sense in our open area than the smaller fans we looked at. I'd buy the same size again.
Definitely a big fan when you get it out of the box. Once it was up though, the size made a lot more sense. If you have a large room or patio, I would not be afraid to go with the 84 inch.
