Put this up in our shop with the exposed OSB ceiling and it fits the space exactly the way I hoped. Most regular ceiling fans would have looked way too small up there. The black finish works well with the unfinished ceiling and the fan looks solid without being overly industrial.
We were worried a 100-inch fan might look too big indoors, but once it was up it actually fit the room really well. The black finish is clean and the three-blade design keeps it from looking bulky. It gives the space a much more finished look than the smaller fan we had before.
The size is definitely noticeable when you first open everything up, so measure your space carefully. Once installed though, it looks balanced and much cleaner than I expected for a fan this large. I’d buy the same size again for another large room.
I was a little unsure about going this large indoors, but once it was mounted it made sense. The black finish looks clean and the proportions are right for a high ceiling. Some of the install steps took me a little longer than expected, but the finished result was worth it.
Most of the fans I looked at just seemed too small once you pictured them on a high ceiling. This one has enough presence without looking ridiculous. Very clean design and the blades look especially good from below.
We needed something that wouldn’t look undersized in a room with this much ceiling space. The 100 inch Horizon fits the scale really well. I also like the simple three-blade design — big fan, but it doesn’t make the room feel industrial.
